Protecting personal data is important to WE1TOWN PAZARLAMA VE BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (tax no. 8001226195) ("WE1TOWN" or the "Company"). As data controller, WE1TOWN acts in accordance with the principles and obligations set out in the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").
This Privacy Notice explains how we process your personal data as data controller when you purchase software and digital products through the wesoftware.io website (the "Site").
DATA CATEGORIES AND EXAMPLE DATA TYPES
Personal data processed by WE1TOWN includes identity, contact, payment, membership, customer transaction, transaction security, marketing, audio-visual, legal transaction, and request/complaint information — such as name, email, billing details, order history, IP address and support records.
PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
We process personal data based on the legal grounds listed in Article 5 of KVKK, including: compliance with legal obligations, performance of a contract, establishment or protection of legal rights, and legitimate interests where fundamental rights are not harmed. Processing purposes include order fulfilment, billing, customer support, security, fraud prevention, service improvement and — with explicit consent — marketing communications.
HOW WE OBTAIN PERSONAL DATA
WE1TOWN obtains your personal data through the Site using fully or partially automated methods. In certain cases, data may also be obtained by non-automated methods when you send documents to us by post.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA
WE1TOWN transfers personal data only for the purposes stated in this notice and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK — to authorized public institutions, group companies, service providers, business partners and payment institutions where necessary to provide the service. Cross-border transfers may occur to cloud and payment service providers subject to appropriate safeguards under applicable regulations.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, request information, learn the purpose of processing, know third parties to whom data is transferred, request correction or deletion, object to automated decision-making and request compensation for unlawful processing.
